Q: What age groups do you work with?
A: We work with individuals across the lifespan—from toddlers as young as 18 months to adults and seniors.
Q: What is speech therapy?
A: Speech therapy helps people improve their communication skills. This includes speech, language, social communication skills, fluency (stuttering), voice and swallowing. Therapy is delivered by a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist and supports individuals of all ages.
Q: Do I need a referral from a doctor?
A: No referral is needed to begin speech therapy. You can contact us directly to get started.
Q: What if I’m unsure whether speech therapy is needed?
A: If you're not sure, we're happy to chat with you. We can schedule a free phone consultation to discuss your concerns and whether an assessment or session would be helpful.

Q: Where do sessions take place?
A: We offer mobile services and come to you—whether at home, school, daycare, or another agreed-upon location.
Q: Do you offer online/telehealth sessions?
A: Yes, we offer telehealth sessions to clients anywhere in Australia. This option is also available to clients within our travel areas who prefer online support. It’s flexible, convenient, and effective.
Q: What does a typical session look like?
A: Sessions are tailored to each individual and may include play-based activities, structured tasks, parent education, explicit teaching. We always build sessions around meaningful goals and what works best for the participant.
Q: How long are sessions?
A: Sessions usually last between 30 to 50 minutes, depending on the client’s age, needs, and ability to participate. Session length also depends on funding availability and individual preferences—we’ll discuss what works best for you.
Q: How do I pay for sessions?
A: After each session, we’ll email you an invoice. We currently accept bank transfer, with payment details clearly provided on the invoice. Please use the invoice number as the payment reference.
Q: Do you accept NDIS or government funding?
A: We accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. Unfortunately, we do not accept NDIA-managed clients at this time. If you're unsure about your funding type, we’re happy to help clarify.
Q: Do you speak other languages?
A: Yes, our therapist speaks English, Mandarin, Hokkien and Cantonese. You can let us know your language preferences when booking.
Q: What areas do you travel to?
A: We currently travel to suburbs in the City of Parramatta, City of Ryde, parts of The Hills District, Cherrybrook, Strathfield, Homebush, and Concord West. If you are located nearby or in a surrounding area, we'd love to here from you. We're always open to working together to find solutions that make access to support easier for you.
